Founded in 1996, ICONS BY BIZANC is an exclusive multi-brand fashion store located in the down-town of Budapest. The current location is a historic and UNESCO listed building, that was built in the ‘19s century. Acquired in 2008 followed by three years of careful renovation, the store reopened its doors in 2011.
Due to monument protection the unique interior is consist of original, untouched English mahogany wooden furniture, stucco molding and crystal chandeliers combined with modern shelving, sofas and abstract paintings.
Since its inception, ICONS BY BIZANC’s aim is to present an exclusive assortment of ready to wear, shoes and bags from the most admired designers and finest labels including CÉLINE, SAINT LAURENT or GIVENCHY.
The careful selection is curated by the owners, since the very first day.
Today, ICONS BY BIZANC is located in the heart of Budapest at the well-known Petőfi Sándor utca 20. The heritage listed building was built in 1862. At the beginning the third floor served as the atelier of Barabás Miklós, an internationally recognized painter.
In 1922 textile tycoon, Brammer Ödön acquired the property. The impressive grandiose interior and exterior architecture consist of hand carved English mahogany wooden furniture and Breccia marble was created by Mr. Brammer. The antique tailoring tables in the store made of hickory and cherry wood used to serve to unfold the luxury textiles.
The UNESCO listed property, protected by architectural authorities, was renovated for three years in order to carefully restore the original look of the luxurious property. From 2011, customers are invited to encounter a completely unique and outstanding shopping experience.
